Tour Itinerary
10:00 starting the day trip to Sighnaghi - the city located in the heart of Kakheti wine region. Our first stop is at KTW winery where we will have a tour around the wine factory and wine degustation.
Continue our way to The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe - Georgian Orthodox monastic complex Originally built in the 9th century. The monastery now functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there.
Near Bodbe we will visit a pearl of Kakheti - Sighnaghi city which is endowed with significant historic and cultural heritage sites. The town sits atop a bluff overlooking the Alazani Valley, Georgia’s most famous wine-producing regions.
After the walk through Sighnaghi we will stop for lunch at local family house, guests will try traditional to Kakheti region dishes. The lunch will be accomplished with home-made wine, which guests can select by themselves.
In the evening we will return back to Tbilisi. After the tour guests will be dropped back to accommodation or any other preferable place.
